Lara held her preparations at the historic Kenilworth Homestead situated inland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. I met the beautiful Lara through a close childhood friend Melanie who happen to be one of Lara’s bridesmaids in her wedding. Lara and her bridal party were all so lovely on the morning of her wedding which made for a relaxed, fun and memorable time! All the lovely ladies decided to have their makeup airbrushed which gave them a flawless, smooth finish to their skin and defiantly added the glamorous touch (along with the full strip lashes!).
The wedding was set at the Kenilworth Homestead, just inside of the Sunshine Coast Queensland. This homestead was first commissioned in the 1860s, but today serves as a function center, camping grounds and other accommodation. This is such a beautiful place to hold weddings which a country chic vibe about it. There are so many photographic spots on the homestead it makes it so easy for the bridal party to get glorious photos, without having to go far.
The Kenilworth Homestead seems to be the ‘it’ place for weddings in the area. All the locals know when one comes to town! I was grabbing a coffee from one of the local bakeries in the morning prior to starting, whose owner asked ‘your here for the wedding?’. Defiantly a small town! But do not under estimate the beauty of this place, it is simply stunning for weddings and provides all the accommodation you need for your guests. You can check their website out HERE.
A special mention to Sheree Stubbs Photography who took some beautiful shots of the wedding which you can view HERE. She was very easy to work with the bridal party and everyone seemed very relaxed in front of the camera.
